Experience the Power of Water

How each Barefoot Fitness Spa is named

Each of the Swim Spas manufactured by Barefoot Fitness Spas is named after a waterfall from around the world because waterfalls represent the power and energy of water in nature. Waterfalls also represent energy and rejuvenation, which is a characteristic that is well represented in swim spas. The Barefoot Fitness Spa, the Bossetti, is named after the Bosetti waterfall of Argentina and is two spas in one – it features a full size spa separate from the swim spa. This exercise swim spa is unique in that it is dual-temperature. In other words, the hot tub end and the swimming spa end are two isolated bodies of water and can be maintained at different temperatures.

A FITNESS SPA IS A 24/7, 365 DAY A YEAR FITNESS MEMBERSHIP

Everybody understands the benefits of aquatic exercise. What everybody does not realize is that swimming and other aquatic exercises are not always (or even usually) a feasible option. Outdoor community pools are only open between three and six months out of the year. Even if they were open year round, a big in-ground bucket of ice is hardly an appetizing environment for swimming. Personal pools are usually too narrow and/or shallow to perform aquatic exercises and are also subject to freezing. Indoor pools often come with a hefty membership price and limited use due to all the classes and ‘open time’ for the children.

I know one place where you can be swimming during the December holiday season: in your own Fitness Spa! Each of our Fitness Spas, from our new Barefoot Tarsus swim spa to our award winning Barefoot Bosetti are designed with state-of-the-art propulsion systems as well as advanced temperature control technology. So whether it’s a July afternoon in Phoenix or a snowy New Years day in Buffalo, be assured that you can get a great aquatic workout in your Barefoot Fitness Spa and love every minute of it!

Swim Spas: Better Than Swimming Pools

There’s nothing quite like a backyard swimming pool. If you want to swim though, a backyard swimming pool is just too short. Five strokes – wall – five strokes – wall – five strokes – wall… it gets pretty old. Even a 50 foot pool is sometimes too short to really get in to a swimming rhythm. That’s where Barefoot Fitness swim spas come in. We build our swim spas for those who like the backyard pool idea but still desire the fitness and health benefits of swimming.

Barefoot Fitness Swimming: The perfect areobic workout

Few fitness activities rival swimming for cardiovascular and muscular benefits. Swimming works more muscle groups – simultaneously – then almost any other form of exercise. So it’s a super-efficient work out.

Swimming in a swim spa burns as many calories as other aerobic sports, without the risk of injury to muscles, bones, and ligaments, due to stress and constant pounding. Swimming in a Barefoot Fitness Spa is a safe and soothing aerobic activity that works out all muscle groups and that you can enjoy all year long.
